The rope chair is what most people think of when selecting a hammock chair.  Rope chairs give you a sense of floating that you do not get from other furniture.

Some of the rope chairs can fit two to three people.  Look for rope chairs that look like a traditional hammock and have additional cushioning. It is nice to have a built in head rest on the hammock chair.

Some hammock rope chairs are quilted and are even more comfortable.

When you sit outside in a rope hammock the sides kind of pull you in.  The sun is shaded by the hammock sides.  The “wrapping effect” makes you feel nurtured and calm.  Hey, where’s the lemonade?
